Dallas County CASA
The Dallas County CASA exists to reduce the prevalence of child abuse and neglect through observation and advocacy. Dallas County CASA trains volunteers from the community to be officers of the court that visit regularly with children in abuse and neglect cases to ensure abuse and neglect are no longer taking place. The CASA volunteers report directly to the judge and their presence is felt and they are the voice of the children in court.
The Dallas County CASA mission is to provide children that are at risk of being exposed to childhood abuse and neglect, with an independent and objective presence within the Dallas County Juvenile and Family Court System to ensure the children have a safe, permanent and nurturing home.
If you are interested in volunteering or donating please feel free to call us at (334) 874-7785. Please help us to address the child abuse and neglect that is taking place in Dallas County.
